This course provides an introduction to the visual/information design of Web sites and the technologies of the World Wide Web. Students will acquire a sound conceptual understanding of how to design and construct simple to complex web sites and how this knowledge can be applied in practical ways across all disciplines. Knowledge gained in this course will support the Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Associate degree, as well as other degree options within IST and across the university. Knowledge gained in this course will also support other disciplines within the University, as the Web becomes the predominant publication medium of the 21st Century.

How web content can be hosted and delivered. Additionally, students will learn how to implement content for the web using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
